Tanning Guides

New to tanning? We've got you.

Whether it's your first ever session or you're a seasoned tanner chasing a deeper colour, a little know-how goes a long way. Here's the advice we give at the counter every day.

Book your first session
Healthy glowing tanned skin

Start slow

Begin with shorter sessions and build gradually. Your skin develops a tan over 2–3 visits — rushing it risks burning, not bronzing.

Use the right cream

An accelerator or bronzer makes a real difference. Sensitive skin? Ask for our allergy-safe range — no reaction, gorgeous colour.

Hydrate & moisturise

Drink water and moisturise after every session. Hydrated skin holds a tan for longer — up to a week more.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome! We do recommend online booking to guarantee your slot — especially evenings and weekends.
Is there parking?
Yes — there's free parking right outside the shop on Station Road, with a clear view of the salon.
What's the age limit?
By UK law you must be 18 or over to use a sunbed. We'll always check ID if you look under 25.
Do you have creams for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. We stock allergy-friendly tanning creams that work beautifully on sensitive skin — just ask and we'll match you to one.
What should I bring on my first visit?
Just yourself! We provide goggles, wipes and freshening-up supplies. Tanning cream is optional but recommended — sachets start at £2.
How many sessions until I see a tan?
Most people see a noticeable glow within 2–3 sessions. We'll talk you through a sensible plan based on your skin type.
How long should I wait between sessions?
We recommend at least 24 hours between sessions — your skin needs time to develop the tan and recover.
